Boy or Girl?

Ian and I are aware this test probably has no accuracy, but we decided it would be fun to see the results anyway.  We find out for real if it is a boy or girl in about 5 weeks:)

Our Baby!

Our first appointment was awesome!  Ian and I saw our baby's little heartbeat for the first time and it was the most amazing and relieving moment.  We both were smiling ear to ear and I could tell Ian was so proud.  The doctor said the baby had a very strong heartbeat between 150-160 beats/min.  We already love our baby so much and cannot wait to find out what we are having.  I am now in my 8th week of pregnancy and the baby measured to be 8 weeks and 1 day.  Our due date is December 5,2010.  Oh, and our next appointment is May 26th!

Nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach....you know the rest!

Actually its mainly the nausea that has been kicking my butt!  I had to start taking progesterone to raise my levels a bit, and not until I started taking it did I feel nauseous.  Seriously, the moment before you puke your guts out with the salivating mouth and  sloshy stomach feeling all the time was getting a little old.  I finally feel like it is getting better, I hope.  In more exciting news, our appointment is only 11 days away, wahoo!  I can't wait to see our baby, and we just pray to see a strong little heart beat.

We're Pregnant!

We have been trying for a few months now and on March 25th we had a positive pregnancy test! It was so weird because the day before I took the pregnancy test I told Ian that I felt pregnant. I cried randomly one night which is unlike me a few days before and had a couple of other symptoms.  Needless to say, God has blessed us with the most amazing gift, and we can not wait to meet our little baby.  I will be due in the first week of December, but if it changes I will let everyone know.  Our first appointment is on April 28th which will put me at about 8 1/2 weeks pregnant.  Keep us in your prayers for a healthy pregnancy!

TGIF

It has been  on e o f those weeks that just don't seem to end!  I am so excited for the weekend, especially tomorrow.  I am having a much needed girls night going to dinner, a movie and then play games and such at my house after.  Other exciting news is my sister and niece came into town from Texas...so awesome!  She should be starting hair school in May and I cannot wait for her to fix my hair:)
Only other exciting news I have is I am mailing of my application for the ARRT registry exam.  Which means if I pass  the registry I will be officially considered a  Registered Radiologic Technologist.  Wahoo!  Wish me luck , come end of may you will know the verdict.

LIFE as we know it!

Ian and I have been married for almost 2 years now and have been together for like 7:)  I am truly blessed to be his wife, I know God chose him for me. Ian has been working for the state for almost two years now, and is doing great I am so proud of him.  I have been a full time student in a Radiologic Technology program since August 2008 and I graduate this May.  I cannot tell you how excited I am to be done with school:)

We began going to Life Church (Edmond Campus) in July 2009 with our friends, and we absolutely love it!  There is no greater feeling then the presence of God. Being able to worship him is such a blessing and honor.  We have so much to be thankful for!

We just bought our first home in Midwest City in December 2009 and we absolutely love it!  I've learned how to turn off the main water line, use a shop vac, turn on a pilot light amongst other things in the past few months.  Though being a homeowner can be challenging, I wouldn't change a thing.

Recently we got a male puppy, he is a 16 week old Malti Tzu, a maltese/shih tzu  mix so no shedding yay! His name is Murphy Jones Litchfield/Murph/Murphkins and we love him to pieces. He is doing great with potty training and has only had a few accidents but nothing out of the ordinary.  He also loves to play fetch outside and knows how to go in and out of the doggy door to our garage.  He is such a sweetheart and loves to cuddle!

I will post pictures soon of the house and of course little Murphy!
